David M. Ramirez is a Colombian-born, Miami-raised television writer and NYU Tisch alumnus whose work lives at the intersection of Latin identity, family trauma, and genre.

A 2020 graduate of the Walt Disney Television Writers Program, he sold and developed Los Leyendas with Disney General Entertainment. He has staffed on Disney Channel's Gabby Duran and the Unsittables and Nickelodeon's reboot of The Rugrats, and got his start as a writer's assistant on CBS's Evil and The Good Fight, with earlier stints at Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

His scripts range from Everglades survival horror to queer coming-of-age drama to culture-clash comedy. All stories about what you lose when you cross a border, and who you become on the other side.
